Lion Sands Private Game Reserve
Kruger National Park , South Africa
This international award winning private game reserve is located in 3,500 hectares of the finest territory in the famous Sabi Sand Game reserve.

Lion Sands Private Game Reserve
The land forming the reserve has been owned and managed by the More family for four generations. Nick and Robert More, the current owners, have the type of passion for Lion Sands that can only be instilled by a great family history.
Ivory Lodge and River Lodge
Nestled on the banks of the Sabie River, this private game reserve offers the highest standard of service, accommodation, amenities and facilities, with six ultra luxurious suites at Lion Sands Ivory Lodge, and eighteen luxury thatched rooms at Lion Sands River Lodge.
Treehouse Experience
Lion Sands offers guests the opportunity of spending a night under the African stars in one of our two unique Treehouse Experiences.
In each treehouse, a bush bedroom is set up to accommodate a single or sharing guests for the night, with secure access and as many of the room comforts as are practically possible - mosquito net, mattress, linen, bedside table, toilet and bush vanity table.
The treehouses are completely private and secluded, allowing the guest the unique experience of being completely alone in the wilderness - an experience that few places in the world can offer.
Safari Activities
Sabi Sand Game reserve is completely committed to ensuring the preservation of this pristine bushvelt (wilderness area), allowing access for guests to observe Africa’s greatest mammals in their natural habitat, and ensuring the benefits are shared with the local communities.
At Lion Sands guests are offered a selection of unique safari based activities, which include astronomy, interpretive bush walks, game drives and the hippo tour.
