About Mabula Game Lodge

Exclusive accommodation, in 47 air-conditioned luxury thatched chalets with en suite bathrooms, offers guests complete comfort and relaxation. The design incorporates wood, cane, natural stone and animal print fabrics, as well as terracotta, green and earthy colours.

For culinary connoisseurs Mabula has much to offer, and the lodge is renowned for its variety of beautiful and unusual dining venues.

The Ko Bojelong restaurant boasts a varied menu, attentive service and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Mabula Lodge also offers a romantic candle-lit dinner in the Ndlovu thatched boma, with traditional African dancers.

Hot and sunny afternoons can be spent at the lodge's pool, or in the Buck and Lion bar, where you can have a refreshing cocktail.

Mabula Game Lodge offers a traditional outdoor experience for visitors wanting to brave the African wild, and together with Kwafubesi Tented Safari Camp, guests have the chance to 'get up close and personal' with nature.

Mabula Private Game Reserve lies a two hour drive north of Johannesburg. This 30,000 acre area of malaria free reserve is home to an abundance of wildlife and birds, including the world famous Big Five.
