While the Kruger National Park is undoubtedly the main tourism feature of the Mpumalanga and Limpopo Provinces, there is a lot more to see and this is especially true for the birder. The tour aims to make the most of these specific habitats to create a large and diverse bird and mammal list.

This 13 day tour begins in the Cape Peninsula region, then heads eastwards to Port Elizabeth before heading inland to the thicket region of Addo and the arid Karoo semi-desert. The bird list for this trip is varied and features many endemics and special species that are found nowhere else on earth.
