- Experience the riotous colours of Namaqualand as the wild flowers burst into life in the spring, between July and September
- Go whale watching at Walker Bay, best between July and November, or attend the famous Hermanaus Whale Festival held in September each year.
- Have a tour of Cape Town - Table Mountain, Cape Point, Boulder’s Beach...
- Visit Soweto, taste traditional food, see Mandela’s house, visit its Museums
- Walk or wheel with lion cubs, hear the animal calls, visit a rehabilitation centre for endangered animals
